Cattell Library is getting a new Library Services Platform (LSP) in June 2025! This will impact just about every aspect of library operations, including searching for resources, placing holds, checking out materials, and accessing your account online. Requesting items from OhioLINK, SearchOhio, and placing InterLibrary Loan (ILL) requests will also be impacted.
We want this page to help make the transition as smooth as possible for everyone, so if you feel information is missing or you have additional questions, please contact any member of the library staff.
**UPDATE - 6/18/25: It's here! To see and experience all the newness, visit the library website and scroll down to Search the Malone Library Catalog.**

This is not a comprehensive list of everything you can do in Primo. If you do not see your question here, please contact the library for assistance.
The Everett L. Cattell Library is happy to announce that the library now has a free mobile app that allows you to access library resources and information from anywhere!
1- Download the app to your Apple or Android phone or tablet by searching for OhioLINK Libraries in the app store. The icon looks like this:
Apple users can find it here:
Android users can find it here:
2- Search for Malone University when prompted.
3- Accept the User Agreement. (Depending on your device, at some point in this process you may see something about the app containing ads. The only ads you should ever see would be for free library services. This app will never be used to sell you anything.)
4- Sign in to your Malone account. You may be asked if you wish to turn on screen lock. Being Apple users, we aren't sure what that means on an Android device (please tell us if you try it!), but for an Apple device it is referring to turning on FaceID/TouchID as an added layer of protection.
5- Explore!
